He already has... he has recently stated that he was unprepared for war. Furthermore, many of the mistakes blamed on Bush were not his doing, he was the fall guy. Perfect example: Hurricane Katrina--They say Bush should have sent the national guard in, however, a president is NOT allowed to interfere with a state unless help is requested by the governor. The governor never requested federal aid, therefore it wasn't sent, yet President Bush gets the blame. While he has made mistakes, people need to read the WHOLE story and not just the headlines.

In a way he has. Just the other day he did knowledge that the war in Iraq was a longer, bloodier and more expensive war then he thought it would be. Above someone said he is off Scott free. The President did not break any laws. Off scott free makes it sounds like he is a fugitive from justice. I agree he has made mistakes, however I think if it hadn't been for the war in Iraq he would of been liked a lot more then he is now.

I don't think he thinks he's made any mistakes. Arrogance, maybe? All I've heard him admit is that he wasn't prepared for war. He didn't say that the invasion of Iraq was a mistake; he just said he wasn't prepared. He really wasn't prepared for much of anything at all that had to do with being President of the United States. And to whomever that one guy was that said the Governor of Louisiana didn't ask for Federal help was wrong. The Governor most certainly did ask for help. It just never came. Brownie wouldn't take the call. His personal secretary said he was having dinner with his family. People are drowning, dying and suffering in Louisiana and Brownie (head of FEMA) was having dinner with his family. Wow!!
