I liked the original better. To be honest it's so creepy that it's one of the only horror movies that can really scare me!

I prefer the remake, because of how they revamped the characters. Barbara was a lot more solid and persevering, after surmounting the initial shock, whereas in the original, she remains comatose the whole way through. Granted, in real life, that's probably what would be most likely to happen, but I find that Savini's version was a lot more entertaining for that reason. Her haircut sure sucks though, but still, GIRL POWER. I think overall though, the remake was much better animated as far as the characters go, the personalities were well done, and you gotta love that bit where they break the television lmao! XD Still though, this isn't bashing the original; I love it entirely, and is a regular watch for me.
