~~explanation of my question~~ The Slavs are remarkably unknown amongst the Holocaust dead (they are usually listed as "Poles and other Slavs") The Gypsies and Jews were targeted in the Final Solution itself. Many, many people were targeted by the Nazis, however, only the Gypsies and Jews were in the actual Final Solution. We were targeted for complete annihilation based on "racial" impurities and both Gypsies and Jews were targeted in the actual Nuremberg laws. The rest of the victims were targeted for other reasons, be it their religion, social standing, lifestyle, health (mental and physical), opposing the Nazi regime, and other issues not including sheer racial impurity. I cannot find any reason other than racial for the targeting of the Slavs so have always wondered why they were not included in the Final Solution itself along with Gypsies and Jews. Would anyone know? I also have never found a solid recording of the Slavic dead. I have seen up to 20 million guesstimate, as low as half a million. Does anyone have a percentage of the total population lost by the Slavs? Such as, 80% of Gypsies were killed. Would anyone have any concrete sources for this information? I have looked extensively to no avail.

I know the slavs were considered "genetically inferior" and not aryan by the Nazis. A lot of people don't realize some of the ethnic groups that have been severely persecuted aside from the usual suspects
