My bf always wants our relationship to be so private,he doesnt want that our officemates know that we are in a relationship..i dont know why?what does this mean?

If it were me,I`d probably think that he had a g/f somewhere else,otherwise why would He want to keep it a secret..unless hes just being careful,as its a relationship in work.Either way,you need to sort this out as its not helping your self-esteem.:)

In a relationship, one partner does not always get to have his or her own way. If it bothers you that he wants to keep your relationship 'secret' (that's different from private, by the way)....and he doesn't have a reason which makes sense to you, then refuse. This will be a good test of his sincerity.

In my opinion, I agree with suzyque and indigoblue. I think that you should tell him that you want a not so private relationship, but I can see if you work in the same office, that could be why he wants it private. Both or one of you could lose your job if you were dating on the job and people knew about it. Now if he does this outside of work I would have to wonder what he is hiding you from.
