  • Little children rarely lie, and you can usually tell so if they ARE lying. If you believe your daughter is telling the truth, which you should be able to do, get her out of that daycare as soon as possible. You don't need physical evidence (i.e., bruises) to tell you that your child is being abused. Better to be safe than sorry.
  • Ask your daughter what she was doing to provoke the hit and if she shouldn't be doing it tell her to stop.
  • simple complain it what happened to ut at the day care centre
  • Kids exaggerate often. And they haven't quite learned the concept of precision of language. Beyond that though, I think that you should get the downlow of what happened according to her (details :O) and then talk to the day care and then see if it was anything really that big a deal. This is just to be on the safe side to make sure your kid is all good.
  • Tell her if it happens again to be sure and yell "Don't do that" real loud so everyone else can see what is going on and make the woman stop.
  • Just speak with whoever is in charge at the Daycare Center. I'm sure it was nothing ... but if something did happen, this would put them on notice that you are watching the situation!
  • Try finding out from other parents if their children have complained. There is always strength in numbers!
  • Call your attorney and initiate a law suit immediately! Close down that day care facility,by demanding that their license be revoked instantly!
  • I think that your child is speaking the truth about what happened. First of all, praise her for telling you about the incident. Tell her that you believe her. Then you need to take some serious action. I would get in contact with whoever is in charge of that day care. I would find out about what happened and why it happened. With the administrator present, I would confront face to face the women who hit your child. I would make it very clear to this women, that you do not want your child hit for any reason. If you are not pleased with the action taken, then find a new daycare immediately. If you feel the situation was adequately addressed, and you do decide to allow your daughter to return to that daycare, make sure she is comfortable with this decision. Tell your daughter if anything happens again then she should tell you right away. If she reports any more hitting, of any child by any daycare provider, then contact the authorities. I hope this answer has helped. Best of luck in dealing with this very difficult situation.
