Question

Help answer this question below.

Every other time I go to use my Dial-up connection, I get the message "Remote computer did not respond." After a couple of hours, it is fine again. What's wrong with it (Besides the fact that I'm still using Dial-up).

It literally could be just about anything from a software /hardware issue on your end regarding your connect settings and possibly a heat issue to bad phone lines and possibly an over taxed server at your ISP's end.
Did you try installing any type of "dial up accelerator", software? If so, get rid of it. They're bunk and sometimes just a front for dialers.
