  • If the user is still active, he probably will respond if AB actually tells him that he has an answer. However, more often than not, the thing that is supposed to tell you when you have a new answer malfunctions. It would be kind of hard for the person to respond if he is never informed that he has an answer to a question he likely no longer looks at. But hey, it's worth a try! If more people answer the question than just you, the odds go up that the user will be notified of one of the answers and then look at all of them.
  • Either some friendly people come along and rate the answers or they go lonely and unread. :)
  • I'm not sure. Maybe they go to same place unanswered questions go. (?) It does seem to be happening more lately. I guess people just don't check back.
  • Maybe they hook up with all the single socks that get lost in the laundry.
  • They gather dust until the database manager goes round with a vacuum cleaner and then they sparkle like new again. It never lasts.
