  • I can not show you scientific facts for this one, I do believe tho a prayer is beyond powerful.
  • Well, last night I prayed that a giant meteor wouldn't destroy my house while I slept, and hey, I'm still here, so, yeah it's pretty sound I reckon!
  • im not sure about this one. i do pray sometimes but i dont know how often they are answered.
  • It is as powerful as you or the person you are praying for believes it to be. If you don't believe, it will not work. Make no mistake, there is no magic and no "god" involved. The mind is a wonderfully powerful thing on its own.
  • I believe stronger than can ever be known. I also believe that those whose prayers have been answered know this one.
  • I think it's limitless! When I pray, I have the power of knowing that my prayers are heard by the one above. They may not always be directly answered in the manner I would most like to see...(ya don't always get what you want..remember that song? lol) BUT IF YOU TRY SOMETIMES...ya get what you NEED! See I believe that God has already provided EVERYTHING I need. I may not always be aware of it, but if I quiet down and listen, become more aware...then it becomes more evident. My basic needs are or will be attended to..I have a way to make my life work...I just have to accept that the ability is mine to claim and take action where and when it is needed. That's some pretty strong power! More of my prayers are in giving THANKS for everything I have and am and have the ability to create and do. I ask to know what I should know in order to DO what I need to do. Of course dookie happens some times to everyone...but once you have accepted that you are loved as a child by God...and for me...that Christ died for my sins and those of the world...that's some powerful amount of love to know you have...it's all about faith.
  • I believe that prayer is as powerful as you really believe it to be. Regardless of what religious context it is done in, whether it be Christian, Hindu, Islam, whatever, you generally have to believe that the very act of prayer itself will have an effect. Without this, prayer of any kind is just words and wishful thinking.
  • Not so powerful as to postpone the inevitable, yet well suited to elucidate the one true meaning of our individual purpose here on earth.
  • It is kind of like writing a wish list to Santa.
  • I believe the power of prayer is amazing, and if a person is truely sincere all prayers can be answered.
  • Very strong if you believe that youre actually speaking with god. If not its completley useless.
