I believe stronger than can ever be known. I also believe that those whose prayers have been answered know this one.

It is as powerful as you or the person you are praying for believes it to be. If you don't believe, it will not work. Make no mistake, there is no magic and no "god" involved. The mind is a wonderfully powerful thing on its own.

I believe that prayer is as powerful as you really believe it to be. Regardless of what religious context it is done in, whether it be Christian, Hindu, Islam, whatever, you generally have to believe that the very act of prayer itself will have an effect. Without this, prayer of any kind is just words and wishful thinking.

I think it's limitless! When I pray, I have the power of knowing that my prayers are heard by the one above. They may not always be directly answered in the manner I would most like to see...(ya don't always get what you want..remember that song? lol)

BUT IF YOU TRY SOMETIMES...ya get what you NEED!

See I believe that God has already provided EVERYTHING I need. I may not always be aware of it, but if I quiet down and listen, become more aware...then it becomes more evident. My basic needs are or will be attended to..I have a way to make my life work...I just have to accept that the ability is mine to claim and take action where and when it is needed. That's some pretty strong power!

More of my prayers are in giving THANKS for everything I have and am and have the ability to create and do. I ask to know what I should know in order to DO what I need to do.

Of course dookie happens some times to everyone...but once you have accepted that you are loved as a child by God...and for me...that Christ died for my sins and those of the world...that's some powerful amount of love to know you have...it's all about faith.

The power of prayer will very much depend on how great your faith is. I have an enormous faith thus for me prayer is extremely important, I always find peace of heart and mind.

Powerful. There was a strong tornado coming to our town and ready to touch down in our town right by my home. I had this strength in God to rebuke it in Jesus's name and it turned right around and by passed us. It was God who said rebuke it like I rebuked the storm. Jesus is so great.

Not so powerful as to postpone the inevitable, yet well suited to elucidate the one true meaning of our individual purpose here on earth.

As meditation it might be effective.

As communication with one's imaginary friend? That's up to the individual and /his/her imagination.

As a way of influencing the outcome of future event? Nonexistent.

Prayer is powerfully strong because it is directed to God who is great and awesome and with Him nothing is impossible and because He hears and answers prayers.
