Wait patiently for the green light (or arrow) ... before I hammer the accelerator. I might take the opportunity to adjust the radio, take a sip of whatever beverage I may have on hand, drag a comb through my mop, etc. -- depending upon how long the light might actually be.

i cross over the road as when the traffic light turns red my little traffic man turns green! ( i don't have a car,i walk ^^ ) ^^

Dance to the music on my radio and see how many people actually pay attention. I don't really have to worry since I will probably never seem them again anyways! :D

I turn on the radio. If I like what comes on, then I just relax and listen to the tune. Otherwise, I surf my stations to find one that I do like.
