I am a Beck fan, does anyone care to explain any of his lyrics...ANY, they all puzzle me?

I believe that most of Beck's lyrics are intentionally meaningless rather than vague or mysterious, like "spraypaint the vegetables" or "she's got a cigarette on each arm." He likes to give you a strange visual, so I would guess that he's inspired by surrealism. Sometimes his lyrics are consistent in order to set the song's mood without losing the surreal images. "Pay No Mind" and the entire Sea Change album come to mind.

I really think he wants us to interpret them in our own way...just like he has us decorate our own "Information" CD's :) He's awesome <3
