On the s/o's side they have word fights just about every year. It always involves the same 3 individuals (A brother, sister and brother in law). It is hard for me to actually go to her families get togethers.

lol! sounds like something my family could do. I wouldn't participate in a physical fight because I would get hurt. I wouldn't in a food fight either because I would hate to get my dress dirty.

Yes. And it was over a game of Risk. Happens every single time my mom and her two brothers are put into the same room with one another for more than a couple of hours.

Yes, it was a biker Christmas bash/party, way too much booze and way too much fun !! Somewhere, in an old photo album, there are pictures of us with cake and mashed potatoes stuck to our faces.

We don't have that type of family/friends. Have only ever seen that in the movies, thank goodness. :) I don't remember any family/friend gathering during which anyone got into a fight with anyone. I feel sad for those who have experienced that. :(
