  • There is a couple different ways, if you have another good high ranking site, shoot that link over to your new one. If not, then its a hard climb but easy enough. You might want to just create a simple coming soon page or a couple and just focus on one keyword and others leading up to it. Then while you are making your site, submit it through to good free directories with good pageranks. i mean ping it out, then put your new site on once it has leeway. Then voila. For instance check this out. www.dallasseo.net/ ITs number 5 under dallas seo in google. we just barely started attacking that, and all it is is a coming soon page.
  • Ha ha. Sounds like such a simple question... But it's really not easy to answer. There are so many different factors search engines now take into consideration when giving you a ranking. I run a website: Cash's Blog (that's me). http://www.cashsblog.com I have been writing articles to share my knowledge of SEO. My website includes articles covering everything from how to choose a domain name, why keywords are important and some basics of search engines. If you're wanting to get your website off the ground, I suggest you check out these articles. If you can't find the answer on my website, try "search engine optimization" or "SEO" in Google.
