I have a FLHRSE4. The book says that the engine idle temperature management system is available for original equipment engine calibrations only. I have done some engine upgrades (cams/pistons). Is the idle system still available for my ride?

I recently installed an EGR valve from a 93 gmc 5.7 engine and it ran fine exceot for idle. It ran very well except for a stall when I put the truck in gear. I reinstalled my original egr valve and a different throttle valve and the engine wont even idle.
