    Yes exactly the same , my Mother knows my views on most things and this is a very well behaved forum in comparison to many. I cannot envisage her being at all shocked or surprised by anything on AB

    That would not affect the way I replied at all. However if I was a teen I think I would be careful because she may not like what answers you give, revealing your experiences.

    I always remember that on a public forum, anyone can read what you wrote - sometimes years later. Don't say anything on a public forum that you wouldn't want your parents, your spouse, your children or your boss to see.

    My mum gave up on me a long time ago, she's now resigned to the fact of my wierdness, and thinks anything I say I am either saying to piss her off, or is juts nonsense.

    Yes I would... but I would be afraid of how she would answer questions... I just wouldn't want anyone to know that she was my mom... She's kind of nutso... And has an anger problem and flirts with everything in her way... She's a bit crazy in the head... She probably wouldn't even understand anything because she was too doped up on prescription drugs to understand... okay.. i'm done...

    My mom passed away a couple of years ago, but had she known about this site, she would have LOVED it. She always had an opinion about everything & wasn't afraid to express it! ha! She was a very funny & enlightened ol' lady. I would answer the same even if she were here & on the site.
