  • Nope. Mind was made already made up by answering other questions on the subject. If you want to start a cult, though. Or some type of cool club. Not like a chess club, or astronomy club, more like a "Let's go out and paahty" kind of club. There. That was clear and to the point.
  • Yes I would. I love a good mystery. I love trying to prove things even if you have to rely on faith to find it sometimes. So were do I sign up and do I need a lunch? lol
  • Nope. Because I CBF.
  • No, because I don't run off on quests with strange men. Unless they are damn cute.
  • If you have a time machine and can bring me back to this point without altering history during or after the quest, I will consider going along as an observer with some pretty strong biases.
  • Nope, Science has already given me all the answers I need.
  • shit i can't even understand the question -let alone answer it.
  • Like many, I am on my own quest and yours is important only to you.
  • I do not think that humanity has come about without intelligent intervention. I recall reading in a science textbook (I don't remember which one) that someone made a scientific experiment. He genetically engineered fruit flies not to have eyes. After several generations they started having eyes again. He conluded that there is a mechanism that prevents the genotype from changing drastically.
  • I was going to say yes. But on re-reading your question I realized your quest has impossible success criteria. You want to prove or disprove creation and/or evolution. Can't be done in any of the four potential outcomes. All we can do is compile evidence - and people have been ion that quest since the dawn of civilization with a big push on both sides for the last 150 years. The outcome so far? Evolution = Huge and growing pile of supporting evidence from many sciences. No evidence suggesting it's wrong. Creation = No evidence for or against. So in the only way we can weigh in on the subject, Evolution has won. That's not to say it's going to be that way forever - perhaps creation evidence is just around the corner... or... perhaps the current lack of any at all really does mean it's all make believe. But to come back to your question - No. Under the conditions you have posted I wouldn't join. +5
  • <oops>
  • Neither can be proved or disproved. On both sides of the argument, most people basically believe what they've been told to believe and what they want to believe.
  • I can easily proof the fact that man evolved from lower animals. However, I can't disprove that this was 'intended' by aliens, god, or any other kind of thing like i.e. a flying spaghetti monster. Disproving the intervention of a 'higher power' is impossible.
