It worked, but I'm not really Mister Popular in my school so yeah. The majority hates the gothic/emotional/intelligent crowd.

I did that here in college to a person who was disabled, but not out of pity. I thought she was cool and funny so I invited her to hang out with my friends. Little did I know that they would be so judgemental toward her. After I chewed them out for being so shallow, they steal her away from me sometimes to hang out with her! Greedy buggers!!! :P

I was always friends with everyone. Yes I used to get asked things like why are you talking to them?My response was always "why not".There reactions key you in on how shallow some people are. Sadly our adopted child who has disabilities is is in the less popular crowd. It breaks my heart how cruel some kids can be to him!
