Crying is good as it helps release emotions in a calmly manner but too much can cause more harm than good. It is when one bypasses the emotional release and just start feeling sorry for themselves that drives them into a dression that is hard to climb out of.

No. The crying does help relieve the pent up emotional stress. No harm in crying if you can recover freshened without getting drowned in it.

I'd say it helps, keeping it inside starts to kill slowly, trust me on that.

It helps me. I cry, I let it out of my system and it helps me to accept the fact. Then I am ready to move on.

There comes a time when one realizes that they've stopped crying for the loss of the loved one but rather what they've lost themselves. Time to stop then, imho.
