  • Not all of us believe that way, no.
  • do all jews believe you have to be jewish to go to heaven? do all muslims believe non-muslims are non-believers? do buddhists believe their religion has the truth? what about atheists, do they believe they are right? what about agnostics? what about wiccans, do they believe they have the truth? come on, to each his own...get over your prejudices already
  • This Christian does NOT believe that at all.
  • I don'tthink that Christians are too austere. And Muslims recognize the existence of Jesus and the respect as a prophet. Prejudices make religions and believers so sectarian . We must get to know others and respect all faith.
  • Yup, generally, the fundamentalist of Christian and Islamic tradition believe just that. Sad. Leaves no room for open mindedness.
  • I guess if they are very strict they do. Other religions are the same - thinking their way is the only true way. I'm rather fed up with them all.
  • I thought religious beliefs and thinking nature of people had come a long way from the thoughts you describe. I was under the impression that most people had escaped the box and are now capable of thinking out of the box. Also I thought many in other faiths had realized the greatness of Jesus Christ and were following His teachings even while retaining their original faiths. And why is that you fail to mention Hinduism and Buddhism among the faiths you list? I thought the Church itself had accepted that there could be merits in other faiths too and had found parallels with Jesus Christ's teachings and the beliefs in other faiths. Now are you asking me to change all my assumptions?
  • Doesn't matter what an individual believes what really should matter is what you believe.Don't get caught up in all that because the JEWS,MUSLIMS,AND ATHEIST ETCETERAS CAN ALSO MAKE ERRONEOUS CLAIMS.People who assume that a person is CHRISTIAN based on the claim should read the book to find that answer for themselves.Let's not forget that most people nowadays are mentally ill in one way or another.Mental Illness claims every religion listed above in your interrogation.Take me for example I'm smart enough to know how retarded I am in comparison to the people who perform surgeries, build aircraft, work for N.A.S.A AND OTHER HIGHLY EVOLVED CAREERS.i Also know that many of them are retarded in other aspects of life. Most people seem to believe everything they read,as you know they all claim that it's divine truth from the Omnipotent God,and most of them are so serious about it they are willing to kill the innocent children surrounding their adversaries, while forgetting what the whole book they are reading is about. If I were to put my perspective in play Id say that human beings greatest design flaw seems to be futility.I also know that we are destroying the planet as humans, and we can't do anything about it,because everyone is still trying to be fruitful and multiply with the devices that seem to encourage vices to tolerate the world, meanwhile people keep trying to have children instead of doing something for their children's future such as making a future for them possible.People seem to be more concerned about their own future,While others simply aspire too yet are physically incapable of fixing a world wide problem that seems to be growing universal.Don't worry because intelligent life must exist out there somewhere so look to the heavens ,and wait for the benevolent Humanoid beings from a distant planet to saves us,Meanwhile beware of the malevolent who are communicating with humans on earth telepathically filling their minds with hatred and discontentment, because they are capable of traveling at such high speeds, they are also incapable of physically harming us because of the atmospheric, and gravitational differences.Meanwhile they will send signals so the humans will destroy the planet so they can repopulate, for them because it's obviously easier that way,So when the planet with the benevolent beings emerges from its orbit around this solar system reaches the point to assist we will simply remain vigilant. You know if I wre to edit this and spice it up,there are people in the World who would believe every word of it.And he knows it might be true, obviously I'm not intelligent enough to punctuate and indent,so the best thing you can do is not believe any of it.Consider it science fiction till the day you witness something believable about it.
  • The bible states (I forget where) that children that die before they have a chance to know Jesus, go to heaven anyway. So, obviously there is more than one way. Maybe there are provisions for those adults that live in remote places and have never had a chance to hear the word. Basically, I guess there are as many ways to get into heaven as they need to make up to appease their consciences. By the way, heaven is also made up.
  • Hmmmm...and, when they say 'thru Jesus' I wonder if that means a big whole thru his stomach that allows even the fattest of people to go thru or if he's like a ghost that one can go right thru without disturbing its stability?
  • If you really are seeking a true and scholarly answer to that important question, you will have to go to another website or actually start finding out by attending a Bible teaching church (not one where people show up just to socialize and then live like hell the rest of the week). It so easy for people to dismiss "all religions" w/o really ever having studied ONE. Let's just say there must be a supernatural reason why Judaism/Christianity has survived all these years despite being just as long being persecuted. May I suggest ligonier.org or str.org.
  • Christians believe in Jesus Christ. They also believe that Jesus Christ, who lived a perfect life, died to ransom us for our lives of imperfection and sin. Will those who reject Jesus Christ as their Savior go to the same place that is reserved for Hitler? I don't believe so, but that does't mean they will be as happy as they could have been, either.
