My dad always said "You can't spend money you haven't got". Wise words but the sad thing is that these days YOU CAN spend money you haven't got by using a credit card. Its better to save up for something you really want and pay for it with money you have. You appreciate the item more and owe nothing.
Needless to say, I don't have a single credit card.

Would you belive I dont own any credit cards whatsoever..and I dont have any loans...NO credit...I own everything I have...but I did find it difficult to pay for things on the internet and stuff...so I got a DEBIT Visa card...its my own cash...

I never had a credit card, i tried to get one so i could buy on eBay but they say that i don't have any revolving credit. So, being 58 and not ever having any record of credit, i guess i never will.

If I tell you, then I would be admitting I have, use and have abused them. so I will say ZERO. HOwever, NOW, we do not use them. period. We are with those that have learned with these times, only buy what YOU NEED.

We have a Visa that we get 5% back on gas purchases so we use it to get gas, pay it off in full every month and get our small % back. Otherwise we would NOT have one. I would prefer that we not have one at all. We have a debit card and that can be used as a CC if we need to make reservations somewhere or make a purchase online.

I have no credit cards. There's no way I want to be one of those people with handfuls of credit cards and mountains of debt. I am smart enough to recognize that I'm not good enough with money to have a credit card.
