Ever since I was young, I wanted a woman I could be best friends with before love even entered the picture. I think I knew even then that love only makes things harder, but, like an idiot, I let it happen anyway. At least I have friend to help me up if the lover breaks my heart.

I have a female friend in Florida I have known for 2 years, we became actually best friends, she is in a steady relationship, we talk on the phone from time to time, I even talk and joke around with her boiyfriend and during our conversation she will always say right in front of him, that she is in love with me...I love her as a great friend but thats all.

My boyfriend of two years is my best friend because: he is always there for me, he is my support and i am his. I would do anything for his happiness and he would for me. We love spending time together. We are there for eachother whether were mad at eachother or not. A best friend is all of those things and thats why my boyfriend is my best friend.

From what I have read, many feel thier s/o is thier best friend, I will also agree that my husband is my best friend in a way that is totally different than that of my best girlfriend. I can talk to my husband about almost everything except girlie stuff, that is where my best girlfriend comes in. I can also bitch to her about him!!

sort of, but before i went out with my boyfriend, my best friends (yes you can always have more than 1 best friend!!)were always and still are beating him up (and they're girls!!) i get really annoyed and want to punch them in the mouth!!! by the way i'm 12 and i go to college :P

if they cannot they are in the wrong relationship. i am 19 and want very badly to eventuall marry my best friend. but we are so different that we never run out of conversation...and would probable not do well to live in the same home.
