  • Two separate isuues. I love my wife, yet disagree all the time. I generally hate my ex-wife, though usually agree with her on most issues.
  • They should be two different things, but the modern day liberal finds it difficult to respect people they disagree with. As a conservative, I have been called imperialist, racist, xenophobic, war monger, hate monger, cold hearted, oppressor, ignorant, sheep... and have been physically attacked (no joke - by a 'peaceful' liberal) just for my views.
  • I thought that until this current election. My friends who voted for the opposite guy that I did wouldn't even allow me into their homes they felt so strongly about it. Even now the election is over, I've not received an invitation. I think they hated my decision although I was tolerant of theirs, and didn't hold it against them personally.
  • "Seperate" - gotta love that X-ian spelling!
  • I'd really hope so!
  • People are so damn sensitive. You have to wear kid gloves while expressing your diference of opinion I've found.
  • yah it's funny how that goes...many people here on AB will ask a question to get diverse answers (even though they are only looking for validation of their oun belief) and when you give them an snswer they are not looking for or they disagree with they will pounce on you...it is human nature to want to be right...it make you feel good about yourself...and if you have a low self asteem then you will look for reasons to aurgue your point (we all know these types) all the time looking for validation...alot of the time it comes off has hate...but usually they just hate the fact thaat they are not correct and feel even less about themselves causeing the reaction to become angry and hate generates from that It is always refreshing to have a delightful disagreement with someone, with no hate of course
  • It should not be misconstued as hate. It is only hate when people start using hateful language and making inappropriate remards. There is nothing wrong with healthy debate that is conducted in a respectful manner.
  • A difference in maturity
