I am going to california in March/April for 2 weeks near the forest falls area, anything I should do while I am there?

I was looking at a map and it's Only an hour or so from Los Angeleas and Hollywood! you won't be board going there, map it and plan lots of things to do...

Forest falls is in the mountains near Big Bear. If you're into skiing, you're in luck. Otherwise, you're probably about 2-3 hours away from L.A. The San Manuel and Morongo casinos are right there. Also, you can go shopping at the Cabazon outlets or go to Palm Springs. If you like fine dining, Redlands is probably your best bet. They have SOME (I stress some) nice places to eat out there. Disneyland is about 2 1/2 hours away. Knotts Berry Farm is about equal distance. If I remember right, there's a place called Pharoah's Kingdom off of the 10 freeway in San Bernardino that is very kid friendly. Also, the site of the first McDonald's is in San Bernardino. It's now a museum. Pretty cool for kids. If you plan on going to L.A., let me know exactly what you're looking for and I can help. Have a great trip! (BTW, it's GORGEOUS out here around that time)
