Thank u :) im excited on becoming a Godmother :)
Thankx u have just given me an idea with the help of yours :) there will be about 150-200guests but I only give 1 gift per family, so with ur idea i could buy like 50 or so small little baby plants that will grow, engrave the pot if possible with the date of the christening day and the babies name, n that way ppl have something that will continue 2 grow n remember the babies christening day.
What do u think? Thank again 4 ur help:)

I think you have a perfect plan, though i am biased. My daughter gave me wife and I a 30 wedding anniversary party and did the same thing as you outlined. The plants are still alive, and when the folks look at them, they remember the occassion. Nursuries will work with you on the cost if you ask. as for maneplates, you might consider getting one the first baby pictures available, and getting them reproduced and contained in a plastic business card hold and put into the plant. The plastic sleeves are at a business store and not very expensive, and the reproduction of pics is also not very expensive. I am very excited for you, ad good luck, god bless. david
