Help answer this question below.

What is a good solution to my poor eating habit. lol. i will be very hungry, & when i get food i take a few bites & im done. i feel sooo stuffed. i only eat MAYBE a meal a day all together. every time i try to eat more & it just makes me feel like vomitin

    Are you otherwise healthy? How's your weight? Of course a doctor would ask these questions, and perhaps you should go to one, but if he says you're healthy I would love to have your problem, as long as it didn't mean I had cirrhosis or a stomach tumor or something. On the other hand, eating just a few bites could mean nothing but junk food--you should keep good food handy in the fridge that you can quick microwave a small dish of when the hungries hit.

    As the others said, see a doctor,
    but...
    this happened to me too, i was feeling very depressed & i lost my appetite, had the same thing you did, I'd prepare food, and even smelling the cooked food would make me nauseated. I lost 15kg because of this. But i can't say why my appetite came back. Now whenever i feel stressed, I can't eat, but my general appetite is good.

    Yes, a doctor is really needed. And we are not medical doctors. But we do know when we hear someone ask about something that ought to receive trained medical evaluation.

    You are losing vitamins and minerals (and weight probably also) you need, and you also have some problem that is causing this, which could be anything from gastroesophageal reflux disease, to ulcers, to gall bladder or other upper abdominal problems.

    It could also be related to your stomach being bloated with air from swallowing air if you are very anxious, (you would not necessarily realize you do this), or some other reason you have excess gas or esophageal bloating, making it feel like you are stuffed after just a small amount of food.

    It could be nothing much, or it could be more serious. In either event, you really need to see a doctor so you can find out. Most of the the problems can be treated easily, and likewise if left untreated, most of them will get worse.

    You sound bulemic as though you fear weight gain from eating. Keep the carbohydrates low you won't gain weight. Only carboydrates can convert to fat.

    You should try eating 5-6 small meals a day. Eating only a little bit of one meal a day is very dangerous and could cause you to have fainting spells among other health problems like malnourishment. Eat what amount you can but more often I eat every 3 hours. If you are consistent with this you should get to a point where every 3 hours you will be hungry. Either way a consistent schedule of eating should solve the problem. Also increasing physical activity, playing sports, swimming, jogging or weight training will cause you to burn more calories and it will be easier to eat the smaller meals more often.
