  • If she has a good reason for going then the judge will let her go but she will have to split the cost of travel for you to see your daughter. If you can prove that this would be bad for your daughter the judge might say no. It just depends on why the mother wants to move.
  • Dude your screwed! That's what happens to men in family court. For some reason judges believe that the father is not as important being in the child's life then the mother is.
  • I suggest that you have your attorney advise you on the best course of action. They might issue an order that the boy be placed in your custody, or that she provide reasonable transportation costs for his visits to you. If your weekend visits are court ordered, it is unlikely she could go against the court, but if the visits are simply an arrangement between the two of you, she doesn't need a court order to leave.
