Haha, depressed over election. You're not alone. Anyway, this is actually the correct topic to put this question.. it IS about what catagories you put your questions in.. and categories are part of AB... so if someone flags your question, it's not legit. Haha. And yeah, I care what category i put my question in... because it keeps order. It pisses me off when someone puts a relationship question in the Real Estate category, like they're gonna try selling off their boyfriend as a temple, or something. Haha.

Then why bother having catagories at all? Posting in the right catagory makes it easier for people who are browsing a catagory in search of related topics. Besides, there are plenty of points to be made flagging the improperly placed questions of newcomers. You don't want to look like a newbie do you?

I do because if it's in the proper category, it is much more likely to be answered. If I want a "deep thought" and I put it in automotive, I am not going to get any answers. Also since we can fix our main page now and not get categories we prefer not to get, it's much easier. i have the categories like automotive, etc unchecked and so if you are asking an important question about finances and it's in automotive, i won't see it.. I really others can get "points" for flagging it but our CLS and Joel and RIch work their ass off anyway dealing with bots, spammers, duplicate and non sense questions, racial crap, etc. They should NOT have to take time to verify the correct category. IMO
