I saw Mitch when the Experience Tribute came to NJ. Hearing the news brought tears to my eyes. He will be missed. I will be at the Hendrix Tribute in Nov at BB King's in NYC. R.I.P. HENDRIX EXPERIENCE

The best Rock ...Jazz Drummmer of all time...Crazy guy used to play fills during the verses. Amazing!

He was one, if not the best, drummer of his time. I think he was accepted as being great, but still under rated. He was replaced in later years by Buddy Miles, but that was a poor comparison to make. Buddy Rich or Ginger Baker would have been more the level, but we shall never know. Mitch will be missed as much as Noel and Jimi, may they all be jammin again.
