Question

Help answer this question below.

1989 Corvette 6 speed trans. Replaced fuel injector nozzles. Gasoline is now getting into motor oil, to the point it will "hydrolock" on a cold start. I'm assuming gas is filling cylinder, then leaking into crankcase when under pressure.

your best bet is to have the intake pulled and looked over for cracks. or it might just be the gasket where the intake meets up with the heads.

I have the same problem with stock injectors, The stock injector is cooled by the fuel running through it, When they run injector through the system it its the insulating varnish off the coil on the injector causing them to fail. The best think to do is get injectors out a 4.6 ford.. They flow the same rate and fit in the corvette. It was an excellent fix for my car.
