Not at all, gospel music is awesome. I mean it's just a strand of blues theres no reason why you shouldn't enjoy it. :D

Not particularly. Music is capable of touching some very deep parts of us on an unconscious level. I'm an avowed pacifist, but I love stirring, martial music.

I am atheist now but all I listen to is gospel music because I grew up on it maybe. Maybe cause my best friend sings it and I will attend their concerts and hear it in person. That type music has a calming effect for me..when I am down, it lifts me. when I am upset, it calms me, etc. Christians listen to rock music which is Satans music so what's wrong with us listening to calming christian music
