You could have ham, roast beef, bbq, chicken, or even meatloaf.

For the original Thanksgiving, wild turkeys were probably included, but not the majority of the meats available. Since Plymouth, Mass. is on the ocean, seafood was likely a prominent part of the menu as well as wild game from the nearby forest like venison, rabbits and squirrel. I think I'll stick to turkey, thank you.

We sometimes have ham. We have done goose but they are kind of greasy. You could also prepare a duck or two. I don't like chicken so I won't suggest that.
