I think they really should police their site better and get rid of people asking inappropriate questions about minors.

Is it questions about minors, or are they prhaps from minors? Though you're not supposed to be in the Adult section if you're under 18, it's hardly rare for a teenage boy to wonder if something is normal and not have anyone he's comfortable speaking with.

For your example (comment at http://www.answerbag.com/a_view/4541729 ), it may seem inappropriate to you, but to a mother whose husband was, shall we say "small", she may be worried about her son's size when he's grown. You're right in that we have no idea whether the person asking (or answering) is a pervert or not. By the same token, that type of question is not that titillating or arousing, so why would they ask it, and why would a pervert risk detection by answering? AB is a self-policing site. If you feel that certain questions are inappropriate in the "normal" AB, remember that there's an "Adults only" AB. You can either use the Wrong Category flag to suggest moving them, or FEEDBACK at the bottom of the page of the question you are worried about, and on the feedback page, making your suggestion or complaint. FYI: Minors (14-16) are PROBABLY the vast majority of those asking about "size", and many are probably doing so to get reactions such as yours. They tease and discuss it among themselves, and some are truly worried about it... And the minimum age that is supposed to be on AB is 14 (see the TOU). Again, if you find any younger on here, use feedback from their profile, and point it out. So, should they be removed and those people who asked them banned? No. AB is a site to find answers to all questions. What about the answerers? Should they be banned? What about those who answered them in good faith, and in a true attempt to be helpful? No. If you don't like a section, stay out of it. For example, I very seldom enter into the AB4Adults section. I've placed questions in there through moderation, but... You DO have to have a slightly open mind about many questions here. If you don't, maybe AB isn't for you.

Well, there is a disclaimer at the bottom of the page that basically says we're all full of it. XD I mean that about the inaccuracy...as for seemingly deranging people, well there is an age restriction, and while I've no doubt that the question you're thinking of and others of such nature can be disturbing, and that in the end we never really do know, if it didn't seem to point at any sort of factual or informative direction, I would hope that the staff would remove it, if there was no reason to disbelief it to be the inquiry of some freaky bugger. A lot of bad questions have surfaced here, but had been promptly removed.

you are being paranoid what is wrong with a 16 year old asking questions about sex?
-
Sue them. If someone is looking, he will find.

You need to calm down. If you don't like the questions, don't read them. If a question is truly inappropriate, it will be removed. If it is sexually explicit, it should be in the adult section, and if it isn't it will usually be moved there quickly. Questions about anatomy, and what is normal vs what is not, are not inappropriate. You need to stop trying to police our morals.
