  • 1. The Holy Spirit would not have allowed any undermining of the truth into the Holy Scriptures. 2. In Luke 18:31-33, Jesus clearly tells us that he also came to be killed and rise from the dead: Then he took the Twelve aside and said to them, "Behold, we are going up to Jerusalem and everything written by the prophets about the Son of Man will be fulfilled. He will be handed over to the Gentiles and he will be mocked and insulted and spat upon; and after they have scourged him they will kill him, but on the third day he will rise." 3. Paul was simply spreading the Good News and in no way undermined the truth. With love in Christ.
  • In addition to Luke 18:32-33, check out Luke 22:20 where Jesus says 'this cup is the new covenant in My blood, which is shed for you.' Jesus' Mission was twofold. To teach, AND to die for the sins of men.
