  • Ground is the point which leads to the earthing. earthing means Grounding of the leakage currnet into the soil.Earth is having an ideal resistance of 1 ohm which is lower than the resistance of any high voltage circuit. The point in the circiut thats connected to the earth is known as ground.It keeps equipment and human life safe from surges,leakage current,lightening and voltage flactautions.
