Yes :D
-
I dont think jesus ever would, but if he was... no because its against his message which would mean hes very flawed.
-
Will / does he have a name tag?
-
As long as he doesn't mix religion with politics.
-
The word on the street is that 64,892,293 people just did.
-
No
-
I have already cast my vote for him.
-
Sure I would. I mean hey, people keep saying we need change, and that'd certainly be a change in the way this country's run.
-
Something tells me Jesus is not much of a manipulative, corrupt type of dude; so he probably wouldn't run for president. If he had to, I think he'd pretty much proclaim himself Jesus and he wouldn't have to run for president.
-
Yes and no, I donno
-
Maybe, i hear he is a great guy.
-
Let me know when Jesus opens the polls up... ;) JK
-
He's already king and that's higher than the president.
-
No. He seems a little too high and mighty for my liking.
-
That would be another historic election, I guess; he would be the first homosexual candidate.
-
Jesus will be in "office" soon enough.
-
No, because he wouldn't be able to separate church and state. :P
-
Jesus would have no reason to run for president, He has already been promised as have we that after tribulation He will rule this world with 1000 years of peace.
-
Yes. But Jesus Christ, the Son of God, is already my King so it will not really be necessary. He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead, and his kingdom will have no end. -- From the Nicene Creed, 325 C.E. With love in Christ.
-
I would.
-
You know, if Jesus were here I don't think there'd be anybody LEFT to run for President.
-
No, I would not eat the bread, or drink the water either. I hear it has hallucinogenic properties...
-
He is too busy doing His Father's work. :) He would no more run for President of the United States than He would run for King of England. Too many countries, too many people..He and His Father represent all people, all countries, everyone everywhere as it is.:)
-
Always. No doubt :)
-
I just can't bring myself to vote for a bible thumper. Call me crazy, but I don't agree with their morals.
-
No, he would be too religious. But he would make history as well, becoming the first jew to become president, so that could be cool
-
No. It would be unconstitutional. He wasn't born in the US.
-
Yes, but only if the Buddha was his running mate
-
Considering, that when Jesus comes back the second time, He will be setting up His kingdom on earth so running for president won't be necessary
-
It would be amusing... He'd Never win. The Religious Right would crucify him.
-
He's already the King. But to answer your question, yes of course :)
-
Based on his track record, no way!
-
Yes but he's anti-gun so he'll loose the votes.
-
It depends which political party He was affiliated with (just kidding.) Jesus Christ already rules over the Kingdom of Heaven and will rule over the earth when He returns.
-
Yes. Jesus is already Lord of my life, why not make Him president of this broken world!
-
Yes I would.
-
Like one person already said. "No, he's King of Kings" and wouldn't need our approval.
-
Probably, Jesus would be a liberal. He has laid out quite a platform already. Too bad so few of his followers emulate him.
-
Why would I vote for jesus? The psychic flying space zombie party, will never put up a viable candidate.
-
Definately
-
I wouldn't vote for him because of his celebrity status, I'd only vote for him if he carried a viable reform agenda, and in my opinion, based on what has been said about him in books or by people, he does not.
-
Yes I would and if He was elected president, something tells me that the economy and other woes that this country faces would no longer exist.
-
OF COURSE! Good news, He is gonna rule :) soon very soon!
-
No. I don't need to do that, when He returns, he'll set up His kingdom, His way. In the meantime, I'll have to endure the human run governments, whether I like 'em or not.
-
He was a smart, yet regular, guy with a rare and clear insight into the dangers of fundamentalism, evangelism, religion in general and idol worship in particular. As this regular guy, he understood consciousness and it's relationship to that which cannot be named, that which is empty of human assigned characteristics. He had a heart, detested religious legalisms fear mongering and bigotry. He understood that what he called the 'kingdom of heaven' was inside everyone without exception and without any further work and that just sitting still and shutting up about religion was a very good idea. I'd be tempted to vote for such a man or woman. It would be quite an improvement over his image as idol today and over the previous administration's ignorant posturing.
-
Yeshuas kingdom is not of this earth, no He would not run.
-
Depends on his manifesto, provided he gets past 'nomination'!
-
I agree with GogettaSS4!
-
When the Jews tried to make Him their earthly king, He ran. Jesus the Christ is Lord of all. He does not need the office of president to rule. All will be convinced of this when He returns to judge humanity. -- This question, while humor is intended, is not very respectful of God the Son.
-
For those of Faith, HE/GOD , is their president/king....
-
He wouldn't want my vote. he's not into politics
-
There would be no need to vote Him in, as just a little president. Being He already has the Authority to rule ALL.
