1. Be sure it IS a troll who deserves to be taught a lesson. 2. Ask myself if what I am going to do will really matter at all, or just make me feel better for a few minutes. 3. Decide that unless I am in an active conversation with them on a post I am involved with currently, I will just ignore them. I'll then try to get rid of the "kiddie spammers" and those who cannot seem to ever answer a question seriously, or without using crude language. They are just as offensive to me, since many of them are supposedly adults. I can easily identify them, flag their stuff, rate them down sometimes, and hope the staff handles it.
