No. LOL

Not personally, but in his recent autobiography Jerry Lewis says ALL his contemporary big name night-club entertainers like Dean Martin, the Rat Pack and so forth, were and had to be on close personal terms with mobsters because they controlled all the night clubs.

Just in passing really, an old neighbour by the name of Volpe. They found him stuffed in the trunk of his wife's car at Pearson airport. I live just north of Woodbridge, where a majority of the Italian Mob in Ontario live. Those that make enough money, tend to move out and up to our township. There's still a number of them around but they're "new" people that established rural folk don't have the time for, myself included.

I could tell you, but then I'd have to kill you.

No one - and I've known plenty of Italians. Imagine that!

My half brother was in the Mexican Mafia, in So. CA. They used to grow a lot of pot up in Humboldt County, strolling about everyone armed with full automatics and everyone know where everyone was suppose to be...so if they heard a noise in the brush...they'd just open fire and check it out afterwards. He also sold the chit too, of course, and after his house was broken into and a large full trunk of very expensive red-hair went missing, he had to sell his brand new car to come up with the cash to cover the loss of the pot...he told his Mom that the car was ripped off, and probably taken across the border into TJ....he also turned it into the insurance co....to get enough money on the claim to cover his shanky, dumb azz....We weren't raised together and thank goodness he's quit the stupid chit, and has gotten his life much more on track.... I love him, but sometimes I wonder how come he's still alive....? (He has this personality, EVERYBODY LOVES HIM....lol)

Probably, I Worked for the Italian American Club, and there was rumors that there was mob meetings going on in the place! Plus all of them owned concreate companies.
-
Yes, all of my great uncles were involved with the Mexican mafia. Most of them went back to Mexico when the oldest brother's car got shot 106 times. My mother still has the afghan that was in the trunk that his wife had made her for a present.

Actually my great grandmother and grandfather were part of a mob in Italy before they died. I have seen a lot of pictures and my grandmother has told me a lot about it. My grandfather was actually killed because he was a big mob man and someone was trying to being them down and he happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time and died. My great grandmother died of old age.
-
Yes.
-
Nope. Not at all. I don't even believe the mob exists. (ok Guido. I answered just like you said. Can I go now?)

Friend of a friend... of a friend. Close enough.

My step-brother's uncle was killed by the mob in Chicago.
-
no, I don't think so.
-
I knew alot of the people but was not close friends with them.
-
Yes. I have friends in high places and I have friends in low places. I know a few people in Yakuza, a few in Shanghai's Black Dragon Triad, a bunch of people in Cosa Nostra, and two who are only loosely affiliated with some Russian mobsters.
-
I guess indirectly from a former friend of mine and his connections. There was more going on at that pizza place on Ulmerton and 49th street in Pinellas county than overtly meets the eye. It just smelled like fish to me and needless to say I wasn't pleased when he wanted to introduce me to the guy he was working for there. I just politely shook the man's hand, made small talk and wanted to leave.
