Top54u, what do you have on me?!!! ;) jk I think if someone uses emotional blackmail, its due to insecurity or maybe a feeling that you owe them? I'd hate to be in that position, unless it were based on some sort of truth. EX: Your mate says, "The laundry is full. You have to help me, I've been doing it for the last few months..." That should make a person feel like a lazy laundry bum, but its based on truth. Any dark tales top54u? ;) JK

I try to employ it as often as possible. ;-) So what's your problem?

I think it's a very demeaning destructive and also abusive way to handle anything. I feel very sorry for anyone on the receiving end of such a thing, in particular where children or someone's actual life are used as the emotional weapon.
