I'll celebrate with you...mostly because it's over but I am glad Obama won over McCain!
-
*Runs thru the room buck naked screaming "GO OBAMA!" *
-
I am so STOKED! We are growing, America! We are growing! I wish I was in th U.S right now! Still, I am thrilled!
-
Not in the slightest. I cringed when I heard firecrackers outside :(
-
I only wish the MLK could have lived to see this day. I hope that will usher in a new era of trust, respect, dignity, and honor for our country. If you'll excuse me I need to go cry.
-
I wish President-elect Obama the very best of luck. He's going to need it. I pray to God that he won't be assassinated. That would tear this Country apart!; ((
-
I am celebrating that we have a new President! God Bless America! I still think we had two good men running for President. I will support our country's leaders. Hurray for Obama and Biden!
-
*Pops open the cork*
-
I feel like a darkness is finally lifting from the collective soul of our nation.
-
I just finished having a party with friends and family in the living room (not to mention that I was flooded with texts and phonecalls with people screaming "OBAMA WON!!")...all that was missing was confetti to fall from the ceiling. :]
-
God Bless America! Obama won, yay! I sent txt messages to most of my friends who are 98.5% Obama fans!
-
We are all screwed!
-
I really feel like calling my fiancee, but it's 5am in the UK so i think i'll wait ;D It's rare i've ever felt American pride, but Lord i feel it now! Woooooooooo hoooooooooooooooo Obama 2008!

I feel like celebrating after that speech he gave!!!:):) WooHooo:):)
-
That was indeed a very powerful speech. I not only wish his grandmother and MLK could see, but everyone that went through those times back then.
-
Most of my friends are McCain supporters, can't wait to throw this in their FACES. I'm SO excited, this is absolutely what we need after eight years of *gag* Dubya. What an amazing step forward for us. YEAH OBAMA!!!!
-
Woo-Hoo!!
-
No thanks.
-
i feel more like crying we are all screwed
-
Great success!
-
I feel like a darkness is finally completely emersing the collective sould of our nation.
-
Yaaaaaaaaay! Its party time!!! WOOOOO
-
I am only celebrating that it is over....I would not be celebrating anything else if the election had gone the other way...This has been the worst one in my memory for "flip a coin", they were both unworthy of the job. Hopefully, Obama will take the job seriously...now that he has it...and will get some good advisers around him. Goodness knows he needs some. And I pray for wisdom all around, as we now have all three branches dominated by one party. I remember the last time this happened. It was not a good decade. Just good music. Yes, indeed, "God bless America".
-
Yep..you betcha, FI..celebrating is not confined to America..all around the world people are optimistic that things will get better. The stock market was happy at the trends. Hip hip hooray for "we the people"! :) ((hugs))
-
i can't say god bless america but i can say god bless those that suport freedom, libertly and oppoutunity in any nation. And yes i will be celebrating equality arond the free world, Go Obama!
-
closest thing to a soicalist in america, so good for him
-
Not really. I'm happy that we've achieved such a milestone, and that we've finally reached a place where we can move on from our painful history. I'm also eternally grateful to Obama for ensuring that Hillary Clinton's presidential aspirations are extinguished. That said, I'm not the least bit excited for what the next four years will bring.
-
I don't believe in a god. But I have great faith in the power and wisdom of this nation's people, and of those whom founded it with immense care and thought so as to create a system that could continually learn, grow, and weather any storm. I celebrated like quite the lush last night.
-
WHAT IS THERE TO CELEBRATE???? He's WORSE than BUSH! just wait.....
