  • GWBush (shrubby as me and my friends call him)has used the presidency to increase his, the VPs and their cronies bank accounts at the cost of thousands of lives both in the US and Iraq. It is his goal to bring down the US. He doesnt even understand his confusin rhetoric and often contradicts himself (if he can get the words out at all). Shrubby stole both elections, put the US in a huge monetary hole and made us the enemy of the world, where just one presidency b4 the US was in the black, an ally to most countries and enjoying a time of peace and growth. He masks encouraging mediocrity with plans like "No child left behind" and follows through by cutting education funding. He has cut health care. He favors tax breaks for his wealthy elitist pals, while the poor and middle class pay dearly. Do I like him? No.
  • I am not fond of him. I think he has failed miserably in Iraq. His "no child left behind" program is a flop. While he has been in office the gas prices have gone up, and the housing market has gone down. I will be glad when his term is over.
  • yes I love him!
  • I used to like him but not so much now. As others have pretty much said he is really only worried about putting more money into his pockets. I don't agree with him sticking his nose into other countries business uninvited and making us americans look like bullies that cant leave other countries alone that have a different way of life. I can't wait for the next election, so hopefully we can get someone in office to clean up his mess. Only thing bad about our last president was that he had some oral sex with an intern and america was pissed about that? We need to get our priorities in check and shouldnt be impeaching presidents just for something like that. He was much better in office than our current president.
  • I did like Bush at one point, right after 9/11 and the war on Afghanistan, because he handled the situations very well. However, not anymore, because he has dragged us into an unprovoked war with Iraq, making false claims that were not proven or supported.
  • no because he is not fighting against Global Warming.
  • I like bush But not his moves.A person by himself is never bad but his intensions are.So if u dis like any one then dislike his qualities not him. This is my principle and the decision is yours.
  • I'm sure Laura does! ;-)
  • Wow, this question has changed. The original question asked who likes George Bush or something like that, so I answered like this: His Puppetmasters and handlers as well as the Oil Industry. Which now no longer answers the question that it is under. How does this happen?
  • Nope. He isn't fit to be President, he should have never been elected to be President, I just don't like what he's done for our country these past 7 years.
  • His immediate family and all his sycophantic minions, and the millions of other weak minded americans he has brain washed.
  • I just wanna know where the hell the WMD's are. the armed forces have certainly had enough time over there that if there were any somebody would have found at least one. but no, nothing, countless bombs and rounds of ammunition, that YOUR tax dollars paid for(i'm canadian), and not even so much as a envelope filled with anthrax. WTF??
  • Like Colbert Said: "The Last Third is usually backwash"
  • Does anyone really like CAPS LOCK? I sure don't! (Nor do I like GW Bush.) Apparently, though, around a third of America either does like him or is too dumb to disapprove of him.
  • Probably not,for he ignores the voters wishes, and since he listens to Dick Cheney and his cohorts with their agenda, this even makes him look worse. I think that Cheney is running the show.
  • Someone might, but I'm not that person. Apparently SOMEONE does... I don't know them personally.
  • I DO! The President's job, contrary to popular belief, is not designed to grant every wish each voter has. It is not designed to comply with every poll that comes out. His job is to do what his judgment direct him to do if he feels it would be in the interests of the country. That means, economically, politically and militarily. He cannot please everyone with his decisions, but it is not his job to do so. By the way, there have been presidents now considered great, or near-great, who were not popular in the polls when they left office. For instance, Harry Truman left office with some polls in the low 20s, but he is now considered by many historians to have been one of the better Presidents.
  • I love the way you use the brackets just incase anyone forgets! hahhaha As for my answer: I should think they do, yes.
  • If everyone liked the same man, we would not have to vote. I do not like war, but I also do not like terrorists, or watch our people mangled from some third world piece of crap country! He calls the shots, all the Democrats do is complain, all the public does is whine to impeach or how much they dislike him. GET over it, he is here, our country is safe. Put a loud mouth Democrat in, and watch this country go to the dogs. Lets see who complains in 2008! This is America, we are free, safe and resourceful. Every president has skeletons, evey president has made wrong choices, they are all human.
  • NO! He didn't get MY vote.
  • He's not the best but he's not as bad as some people like to make him out to be either. Bush-bashing has become very trendy.
  • I've never met him, but I generally don't like morons.
  • iam deeply sorry that the man who i was lead to beleive he would lead this country in the right direction turned out to be a dunderheaded jacka##-and i was one of many who voted for him..he's a walking disaster omg..impeach the peach!
  • Do I know the man and how he is in his personal life? Nope. So I cannot comment on that. Did I vote against him because of his political values and opinions? Hells yes. He has no idea what is going on.
  • i can't stand his stupid face. i think he is the worst thing that EVER happened to my wonderful country.
  • Does Laura?
  • I'd think his family likes him. I'm fairly sure he likes himself also.
  • He floats my boat!
  • He trips my trigger.
  • Yes, because there was some way he got elected. If nobody liked him then he would not be Prez right now.
  • I'm sure he's a decent guy, but as a president...he's another D-D-Dan Quayle!
  • I'll like him a lot more in 18 months.
  • I do and i don't. The president should end the war. But there are a lot of things that should be done. End world hunger, world peace, but everything can't be done.
  • Elizabeth H. on The View seems to.
  • I think it would be fun to have a beer with him, but he struggles with his Presidential responsibilities.
  • Only if you are talking about the beer.
  • no, i shave. HAHAHAHAHA!!!!! i HAD to! lol! no to him, either!!
  • Yes, he's my daddy.
  • Never met him. I don't like his presidency, though.
  • Never met him, but from what I see he's either a puppet or a royal douche
  • I admire him for doing his best under very difficult circumstances. I don't think he is the leader we have needed during these trying times but in fairness there are only a handful of former Presidents that could have handled what has come Bush's way. I think when his term is over he is going to be very very tired. The available choices as his replacement are looking pretty dim. This worries me.
  • I don't like the way he's running the whole situation with the war, but I do have to support him because... well he's the freakin' pres. and plus it's partially my fault... i voted for him... TWICE!!!
  • For me it is nothing to do with like or dislike. He is obviously incapable of running the government. In reality it is Cheney that runs the government and Bush is taking his bad advise. Now you have 2 incompetents. The war in Afganistan and Iraq are the two biggest mistakes made by these men.
  • Oh yes, he's such a darling.
  • I do not know him.
  • Never met him so I cannot say. I do not care for the choices he has made. I don't think he's evil. I sincerely question whether or not he even makes any of his own decisions.
  • I don't know him personally, but usually I prefer people with a higher IQ
  • In what way?
  • Which kind?
  • Heck No
  • prefer trimmed or shaved.
  • The plant is ok
  • Apart from his views on immigration, I'm pretty happy with him. He lost points with me over the whole immigration debacle. McCain as well, but he'd lost my vote long before already.

  • I hate Bush, he is feeble minded dummy and only a mouthpiece of powerful US oil and corporate interest, who decided to use this big time looser ( whose oil company went bankrupt) to implement their nasty imperialist hawkish agenda. It is disgusting to watch out country being the subject of so much ridicule and hate abroad, and Bush no doubt is the cause. He has blackened our image, significantly reduced our national prestige, bailed out with our hard earned tax money more corrupt investors and bankers than anyone before him, ransacked reclessly our economy forcing millions of working and middle class Americans into destitution and deprivation, and above all poured money and resources down a bottomless pit, called "Iraq", I am sure his corporate crony friends and defence contractors friends are thrilled because they are the only ones making money out of war and this misery and at the expense of our national welfare. What happened to America ? Why did most Americans get blinded by this ruthless money and power grabbing liars and bigots. We profess to be democratic but under Bush we live in a time bound semi religious dictatorship, somewhat similar to our so called foes in Iran. Under Bush our own civil liberties have been curbed, and anyone daring criticize his gang of thieves, was depicted as being unpatriotic. Let me tell you what is unpatriotic, it is unpatriotic to support Bush since he is in power only to make his corporate friends richer, while average Americans must struggle with their little salaries and worry daily about whether their jobs aren't being outsourced to China, or otherwise shed or if it will take another 150 years to get a little wage increase of 2 dollars per hour......We so easily castigate Europeans for their social system and interventionist governments, but look at it, they work less than we do and earn more $ and are still productive ( ever heard of work life balance?), they don't live in fear like most of my fellow Americans of loosing their jobs, nor are they beholden to corporations. Fellow Americans wake up, DONT VOTE REPUBLICAN AGAIN PLEASE DO YOURSELVES AND THE WORLD A FAVOR! WHATEVER YOU DO VOTE GREEN OR DEMOCRAT.....WE HAVE SUSTAINED ENOUGH DAMAGE THROUGH AND DUE THE TO THE MORONIC-IDIOTIC BUSH PRESIDENCY !!!
  • he is the eighth wounder! Amazingly bad!
  • The question is "WHO likes President Bush ?" I don't know anyone who does not despise him. And I see him as a real phony. It's too sad that those who voted for him were so blindsided and gullible. He is one pathetic human being.
  • I've got nothing against the guy, but he does seem like a bit of a n00b sometimes.
  • I like him more as a cashier than as a President... he's friendly, helpful, sometimes funny. I'd like to get my fries from someone like that, I think.
  • I dislike him but can't blame him for everything, he is only a puppet manipulated by much more evil men
  • -5 for two reasons... 1. its a blatant duplicate of http://www.answerbag.com/q_view/154660 2. There is a category specific to GWB but you did not put this question in that category. For my personal opinion on GWB please see the FIRST question on this subject and not one of the many stupid duplicates.
  • I think he is a wonderful president. He makes decisions that he feels is right for the country when it is popular and unpopular. That is good leadership.
  • Like him? Don't really know him. I do think he is unpretentious and would be a fun guy to join for a beer. I do respect his sticktoitiveness in terms of his political philosophy - even though I disagree with much of that philosophy. He has made many decisions that will prove costly to America in the long term. History will shed light on whether those decisions were good decisions or mere folly. He was certainly a better choice than Gore or Kerry.
  • I dislike him. His main problem is lack of intellectual curiosity and an unwillingness to analyze. This has led to poor decisions.
  • I hate him because he is a liar SOB and started the iraq war
