How else can you check to see when your penalty will be lifted? (It was not showing on the profile)

I've never been in the PB, but I would guess the site admins could tell you. When you are placed in the PB, do you get a notification? Does that say how long?

I think they send you an e-mail, telling you how long you're in it for, and the date when the ban shall be lifted. But wait, are you telling us you were stuck in it? :(

I think it really wouldn't show on your profile, because they would mention it in an email. Here's the email they sent me when I was Penalty Boxed in March: Subject: You've been placed in the Penalty Box THE TROLL, Here at Answerbag, we try to maintain a healthy, constructive, family-friendly environment, and this means that everyone on the site has to play by the rules. We're sorry, but your recent behavior on Answerbag has not been constructive, so our moderators have put you in the Penalty Box where you will not be able to contribute new Q&A on the site until the penalty is lifted. Here are the the details: Penalty will expire on: Thursday, Mar-13-2008 3:08:am PST Reason for penalty: Answered a Q with a series of accusation about <deleted>. Gave specifics in comment threads to boot. Inflamatory IMO. Links <deleted> <deleted> <deleted> <deleted> We hope that you will join us again as a productive member of the site!
