That's a mighty big generalization. Some are. Some aren't. People get offended to different degrees irregardless of how religious they are.

I agree with 'gtravels'. That's a huge generalization. However, you ask 'Why' do they become offended? (So, some do.) Some have been taught that to ask questions is showing a lack of faith. I feel they are usually offended, because they cannot argue logically, so will usually react angrily
