  • I hate to say it, but I was feeling it a little last night. I think the reason for this depression is because you have a month of all this build up and excitement, then Christmas comes... And then it's all over. People don't like the thought of having to wait another year for it to happen again.
  • Yes unfortunately. I feel full to the brim on sprinkled cookies and ham (which isnt that great of a mix)and I feel horrible because I havent sent my presents to Idaho yet...which isnt too good..are you?
  • Yes becasue my mum is being really really grumpy, and yelling at me for not keeping things safe, even though i put the paper work i needed behind the clock (our important socuments place) and SHE moved them... ...joy
  • Yes, I always get real sad the day after Christmas because to me its the only time of year that things are colorful joyful and I love the music thats played for a month then stopped in its tracks on the 26th. I wish I had a better way to let go of Christmas each year in a more happy way.
  • No,it is just another major seasonal holiday and do not effect my moods.
  • No. I'm feeling "The Life of Ender" melancholia. =)
  • Yes I did not get what I asked Santa for.
  • I feel badly for those that do but I feel just the opposite because the all ads everywhere drive me nuts. I happy those are going away and that the days are starting to get longer. For those that are, I send my wishes of happiness to you and have a wonderful new year!
  • Hi Everyone. Hope your Christmas was magical. I too feel those post-Christmas Blues for a lot of the same reasons. It's my favorite time of year not to mention when it's over it's followed by 3 months of cold nonthingness (here in CT anyway). Fortunately at the moment the local radio station is still playing Christmas music. I know, though, that when I get up in the AM the whole world will go back to normal. But I shall carry on and overcome and so will you. Just like we do every year :-) I hope you all have a wonderful 2009!
  • Nope! The bills haven't started rolling-in yet!:)
  • I felt pre-Christmas depression, Christmas depression, and post-Christmas depression. Now that I've drank a bit of Bailey's, though, (one of my presents) I feel a good bit better. :)
  • Yeah, or maybe it's still post-marriage depression, I'm not sure which. Either way, both suck.
  • No, because I'm going to enjoy the after-Christmas sales and the New Year's celebrations. But I will miss having an excuse to shop and exchange gifts with people. It seems like everyone takes extra time to think about others around Christmas.
  • no, I'm still feeling the glow:)
  • No, on the contrary. I feel post-Christmas relief and elation. All the shopping was completed on time (an annual worry of major proportions), I was excited about the gifts I purchased and that all those gifts were warmly received with excitement...which, to me, is the most rewarding part of Christmas and its gift giving tradition. So, post-Christmas depression? Not at all.
  • I wouldn't call it post christmas depression..just post christmas, okay now I gotta deal with things sorta thing...:)
  • No because I didn't spend that much money this year!
  • "No, because we'll be having another one next year!!"
  • No, I'm not big on Christmas. I'm like a grinch :P
  • Yes, very much so. I am so busy during the holidays and the month leading up to Christmas, that I never have time to enjoy myself because there's so much I have to do. Then, all of a sudden, Christmas is here and gone, and I've not had time to enjoy the season. So, yes, today, I'm very much depressed.
  • No way. New Years is coming up! :)
  • there's always FESTIVUS(the holiday for the rest of us).its not from seinfeld either its from a book written well before seinfeld ever aired.
