Are these microwave "steaming" bags for vegetables safe or do toxins leach from the plastic onto the food?

What's going on with you guys this evening (South African evening)......the other question was directed at me.....now you. I've just been asking myself the same question less than ten minutes ago. I ended up not steaming them.....my gf will be home soon and she'll decide what to do. I only hoe that your susupicion is not correct...BTW...good question!!!!

I'd rather microwave my veggies in a glass dish with a well-fitting lid. but since since I've never really found microwaved veggies all that good, I'd rather use a stove-top steamer.
