  • People are naturally selfish. It is very hard to combat this. People tend to be ignorant. If they're also ignorant of their ignorance, it is hard to convince them to change.
  • Too much misunderstanding and hatred. Weak leaders and stupid politicians on all sides of the spectrum. Stupid little men dominating politics, sending other Men and womens sons and daughters to die.I am not anti war I just think they would be a little more careful if their own children were going to be in the front line.

  • Religious zealot hypocrites! ;-)
  • Same thing as always, I suspect. The people in charge have defeated the people at large. The bosses pretend to know something the workers don't know. Politicians claim to have insight and intelligence, when they're just puppets. A compromise is always to the side with the most money to be gained. It always strikes me as crazy when the people can't get what they want, because the leaders stand in their way. Using America as an example: pot is illegal, there's still no health care for every one, half the budget is used to fight wars that no one wants to fight. It's not that the people are stupid or lazy or watching too much TV. Everyone looks at the world and quietly thinks to themselves, "What can I do? I'm just one person. No one will listen to me. I don't know anything." Divide and conquer, the old saying goes. We have all been reduced to individuals trapped in our own heads, not speaking our thoughts or feelings. And that's how bosses become bosses, and theocratic nitwits become President.

  • May I suggest that this is a depressing Q to answer, and one which doesn't lead to any kind of "solution", but only makes people aware of more "problems". If you word the Q as: "What is right with the world?" then people focus instead on the beautiful and good things that exist, and potential improvements. I know that it might sound too New Age-ish, too optimistic and ... just plain BS, but this really does work. You do get what you put your attention on, and if you focus on "bad things in the world", then that's what you'll tend to see. We know bad things are out there; why go looking for them?
  • they haven't seen me yet! lolz! seriously, i'd go with corruption.

  • Nothing. Humans have made a mess with their part of it, but Earth has a wonderful immune system. She has used it on occasion with great success. For instance, the Black Death of the 1300's, the Spanish flu of 1918-1919, Asian flu of 1957 and the Hong Kong flu of 1968-1972. Let's not forget the little SARS outbreak of 2003. More recently we have had Ebola virus, Bird flu and AIDS. When things get too far out of balance, Earth will shake us off like the tiny parasites we are. And this doesn't even take into account the fires, floods, weather, earthquakes, volcanos and meteor/astoroid strikes. I think the world is functioning the way it is supposed to. Some of her inhabitants (Humans) are not doing their best jobs. We will, eventually, reap what we sow.
  • Monetary system. Look at these bail outs and stimulus packages. They put them in place with a trickle down effect. Big business gets the money and the average person who really needs the cash it presented with a dangling carrot. Why not give the people the direct access to the cash. Then in Turn they would spend the money where they need it and you would see a direct correlation to their needs by watching where it is spent and stimulates.
