  • Green Day-"When I Come Around"
  • George Thorogood's version of "One Bourbon, One Scotch, One Beer." I had no idea what bourbon was, I thought Scotch was liquid butterscotch, and I only knew what beer looked like. So I had no idea why he would order so many drinks. Because he spoke through most of the song, it was easy to remember. But again I had no idea what "lovey-dovey" or "and then she was SO nice" was referring to.
  • My Favorite Things Oscar Hammerstein II and Richard Rodgers Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens; Bright copper kettles and warm woolen mittens; Brown paper packages tied up with strings; These are a few of my favorite things. Cream-colored ponies and crisp apple strudels; Doorbells and sleigh bells and schnitzel with noodles; Wild geese that fly with the moon on their wings; These are a few of my favorite things. Girls in white dresses with blue satin sashes; Snowflakes that stay on my nose and eyelashes; Silver-white winters that melt into springs; These are a few of my favorite things. When the dog bites, When the bee stings, When I'm feeling sad, I simply remember my favorite things, And then I don't feel so bad. http://www.niehs.nih.gov/kids/lyrics/favorite.htm

  • Well, oddly enough, I came up in the bubblecrap pop fad, and I ended up listening to really cool music. Phwew. I am just glad I don't have to say Spice Girls or Backstreet Boys. Hahha. My favorite song was probably "Been Caught Stealing" by Jane's Addiction. Or "Santeria" by Sublime. I loved those songs, and I was actually really little but they were cool.
  • "I'm giving you a piece of my love". Dont' know who it was by, but I just loved that song. I dedicated it to my first boyfriend at the age of 13 on a radio station.
  • I remember loving this song: "Gold" by:John Stewart When the lights go down in the California town, People are in for the evening. I jump into my car and I throw in my guitar, My heart beatin' time with my breathin'. Drivin' over Kanan, singin' to my soul, There's people out there turnin' music into gold. Well my buddy Jim Bass he's a-workin' pumpin gas, And he makes two fifty for an hour. He's got rythm in his hands as he's tappin' on the cans, Sings rock and roll in the shower. Drivin' over Kanan, singin' to my soul, There's people out there turnin' music into gold. Ah the California girls are the greatest in the world, Each one's a song in the making. Singin' rock to me I can hear the melody, The story is there for the takin'. Drivin' over Kanan, singin' to my soul, There's people out there turnin' music into gold. Drivin' over Kanan, singin' to my soul, There's people out there turnin' music into gold. When the lights go down in the California town, People are in for the evening. I jump into my car and I throw in my guitar, My heart beatin' time with my breathin'. Drivin' over Kanan, singin' to my soul, There's people out there turnin' music into gold. When I was 45 years old my friend and I used to stand outside the windows of his house when his parents had friends over and dance like crazy every time that song came on.
