Obesity. Use a bucket of lard as a prop. Gross and memorable.

Either would be incredibly easy. It wouldn't be hard to find images of car wrecks on the internet, and newspaper reports on accidents caused by cell 'phone use while driving. These could be blown up and used as posters, or uploaded into PowerPoint and shown over a projector. It also wouldn't be too difficult to show scenes from "SuperSize Me". Personally, I feel more strongly about the cell phone use while driving than the food thing - mostly because it puts OTHERS at risk, not just the user themselves.

If you decide to use texting, get a stepladder or a set of small steps. Have people walk up and down them as fast as they can, and then as fast as they can while texting. This will help demonstrate how distracted a person is when texting, and why driving while texting should be banned. I wouldn't be surprised if the person misses a step or two while texting, at which point you can make loud accident sounds.
