  • I am 5"7 & i was once at 130 & i still had a little bit of curves & on top of that i got rid of that stomach that i had! Me personally i like being skinny myself.
  • You aren't even overweight. You are actually under if you look at the BMI. Don't diet, tone. You wouldn't be considered chunky but "flabby" or un-toned. Go to the gym and build a bit of muscle. Losing more weight would just be unhealthy.
  • no u dont understand. i know about BMI but its all bull. america is an overweight country so i cant go by that. the weight on BMI's have gone up over the years considerably. i have a horse farm so i am VERY active and strong. i do not need to go to a gym. i just need to change my diet a little. and i am definately carrying more fat than i should.
  • From my (male) point of view, I would rather have a woman with curves and maybe a little bit of excess than a skinny girl.
  • Your best bet would be to tone. Replace some fat with muscle. You may weigh the same (or possibly a bit more) but you can flatten areas and not lose your curves.
  • You wouldn't be getting rid of curves by getting rid of some stomach flab. I'm not going to go there with the BMI but I will say for your height you aren't overweight. I would say you should just tone up your tummy with some set ups.
  • I think you are a good weight. Did you hear that Guy Ritchie said that sleeping with Madonna was like sleeping with gristle? Yes, her body is so hard that there is no womanly softness, no wonder they are getting a divorce. Just do some exercise to firm up what you have.
  • You sound like your just fine. However, I would never ever stop someone from doing something that they feel is the right thing to do. If you feel as if you should lose 10 more pounds, then go for it. Whatever makes you happy. Also, doing a little more to stay HEALTHY (like keeping an eye on your diet or working out) is ALWAYS a good thing to do.
  • It all depends on if you are happy with yourself, if you want to lose 10 lbs do it. I dont think it would change our curvy figure since most of that figure is probably designed by the width of your hips and waist and such. If anything i would say the most important exercise to do would be aerobic exercise like swimming, olyptical and stuff like that.
  • Girl, I'm 5'10 and I weigh quite a bit more than that. You are not overweight. Us tall girls can get away with some extra curves. With the long legs, guys just don't seem to notice it on me. And personally, I like having boobs. When I lose weight, they are the first thing to go. It's unfair, isn't it? If the tummy really bothers you, you could try sit-ups to focus weight loss on just that spot. It probably doesn't work that way though. You can use those pantyhose/underclothes that suck in your stomach. But I've gotta advocate for staying curvy. There are a million skinny girls with great big bobble-heads and 12-year-old boy bodies out there. You don't have to be that way if you don't want to. Not everyone finds that attractive. Curvy is sexy. Dress to accentuate those curves and be confident. Eat healthy and don't starve yourself. Be as you are comfortable being, and you will be beautiful.
