  • I know that back in the day, they used to dip a finger in liquor and rub it in the babies mouth. Now a days, I would buy an electronic crib that rocks on its own.
  • she is now old enough to soothe herself(happends about 6 months). Put her to bed, let her cry, come check on her in one minute. next time 2 minutes, then 3 and so on. making every time one minute longer than the last. she will fall asleep and after about a week of this, she should go right to sleep
  • Also If you have a swing and she will fall asleep there you can transfer her to the crib, each night transfer her a little sooner until you can place her directly in the crib.
  • Your best bet is too put her in her bed with the light off, tuck her in, walk off, give it a min or two, if still crying, lay her down comfortably, don't say anything to her, tuck her in, and repeat until falls asleep. Do this every night and nap time so she gets in a routine with her times to sleep and eventually you can just lay her down and you have the rest of the night for yourself
  • Sing lullaby to child.
  • Put her in her crib when she's really tired and leave... close the door and do something to distract yourself for 10 minutes. They'll usually cry themselves to sleep. Be prepared to do this for about a week until they get in the habit.
