I needed and need that kind of help myself. So I know what it means to have that kind of help. It feels good to get it, and also to be able to give it back in my own ways.

I have found people "in need" sometimes have a more accurate outloook on whats important in life.They appreciate the smallest kindness, which in turn causes me to reevaluate my priorities. This is not to say some arent "scammers" or abuse the generosity of others- people in all walks of life do that. I guess it comes down to what you (or I) get out of the experience. I find I can do with less, and it's not so difficult.So- I guess it's a matter of personal growth and knowing regardless of how my efforts are percieved, someone is being helped.As a Christian my job is to "plant the seed" and let God control the growth. You never know what one single word spoken in kindness will do for someone else.

Simply seeing others in need. "Many hands lighten the load" We should help carry the burdens of our brothers.

well i contacted 2 charitys recently, asking for more details of work they had advertised. Both just came back to me with a re-word of what I already know. So information is good!

I feel that because I'm blessed and more fortunate than many others, it is my duty to help the less fortunate. Helping others, for me it's only natural, and the moral thing to do. It is said that those who have much must give much. There's nothing more satisfying than seeing the relief on someone's face whom I've helped. This drives me to continuously help others. I love people!

i feel the need to help out people because i hate to see suffering, i cant stand to see other people or animals in any sort of pain or misery...so any chance i get i volunteer

It's sort of selfish in a way..I feel so good at the end of the day that I seem to get more than I give.

I want to help others because I imagine That I'm in that position. I like to help the poor and needy.. I don't help the beggers with good physic. I am Attending national service camp to learn more about voluntary works. I want to help people suffering from natural disasters.. We need education even to be a volunteer.
