Give me a good reason to vote for McCain or Obama.. I really want to know what people like about either of them or the views they agree on.

I would recommend voting for Obama,firstly for his health plan for the country,his economic plans,his tax plans,and a new face to the government.We need a breath of fresh air in this political staleness we have had for the last 8 wasted years.

Abe Lincoln Republican. Do these liberals know of the emancipation proclamation? I live in Louisiana and during the past Govenor Elections the democrats on TV advertised said if Bobby Jindal would win he would be the first non white Gov. for La. In effort to try to get white people to not vote for him. Guess what I voted for him any way. How could anyone vote for a politcal party like that? Clearly the Democrats were trying to use Race. I have three strong reasons I would hesitate to vote for McCain. 1. His willingness to attack Iran "if necessary", or other places. 2. His impulsiveness. I think his disastrous choice of Sarah Palin was an impulse, and I think his dash to Washington to "save the financial system" was another. I don't want an impulsive President. (And he is said to have a fiery temper.) 3. Sarah Palin That said, my natural political position is very close to that of Obama, so it is not surprising I support him. And I have a problem with him as well: 1. His answer to every question is "I'll spend more money". But Congress controls the budget, so Obama cannot spend what he wants. Congress theoretically declares war, but as Vietnam showed, the President can start a war without asking Congress.
